Junior 4-H Camp is an exciting overnight experience for youth who have completed grades 4 through 6. This five-day resident camp combines traditional camp favorites with a modern flair—offering swimming, shooting sports, fishing, crafts, skits, and outdoor adventures alongside hands-on learning in STEM, science, and other educational areas. Each 4-H Center blends classic camp fun with innovative programming to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create lasting friendships.

Junior High 4-H Adventure Camp is designed for youth who have completed grades 6 through 8 and are ready for a more adventurous overnight experience. This resident camp features active, hands-on programming that focuses on personal growth, teamwork, and leadership through special interest groups and team challenges. Activities may include canoeing, fishing, nature hikes, swimming, shooting sports, T-shirt airbrushing, survivor-style games, and more—all set in an environment that encourages independence and connection.

If you love to be outdoors then this is the 4-H Camp for you! You will hike, swim, fish, canoe, work on service projects, sit around the campfire, and enjoy nature from sunup to sundown. Join the adventure and experience the excitement of the great outdoors! It is open to sixth through tenth grade students with an interest in all things outdoors.

4-H Target Smart Camp is a program of Tennessee 4-H Shooting Sports It is for youth who are enrolled in grades six through nine. At camp youth learn appropriate skills to succeed in a variety of shooting sports and related areas such as archery, riflery, shotgun use, muzzleloading, and outdoor skills. Programs emphasize safety, correct form, and responsible use. Campers should receive prior training before attending this camp.

Junior High Academic Conference is an educational program on the campus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Participants receive intensive training in their 4-H project areas under the supervision of university scientists and specialists and explore related career opportunities. The conference provides a variety of rewarding and fun-filled experiences in classroom, outdoors, and laboratory settings.

4-H Electric Camp is an exciting, hands-on learning experience for youth interested in electricity, energy, and science. Campers dive into the world of energy exploration, electrical safety, conservation, and basic science through engaging, interactive activities led by electrical specialists from across the state.
This unique camp blends STEM education with fun, allowing participants to learn by doing while meeting other 4-H’ers from across Tennessee. FCS Behind the Scenes is a unique opportunity offered to Senior High 4-H members to explore careers in family and consumer sciences. The program helps teens identify potential career paths, understand the necessary education or training, and engage directly with industry professionals through hands-on learning experiences.
The Central Region 4-H Pioneer Camp is a four-day, three-night event open to current 7th-9th graders as of January 1st. This camp focuses on developing skills in the Outdoor Recreation/Shooting Sports, Forestry/Wildlife/Fisheries, Communication/Public Speaking, and Leadership project areas through hands-on experiential learning opportunities.Â

It’s for 4-H members who have an interest in learning to cook, gain some basic cooking skills, and even learn of careers in the culinary field. This camp is open to 6-8 grades and space is limited.Â
