Programs - 4-H Youth Development

> 4-H Clubs

Youth clubs for students in grades 4-12 are organized in school and after school settings. CloverBud Clubs are an activity-based, non-competitive program for grades K-3.
 
> Acting For Life
Contact: Kathy Finley
The Acting for Life Dramatic Improv Troupe is sponsored by the Robertson County Health Council. Teens may join the troupe with a commitment to providing healthy messages to middle school audiences. An application can be secured from the Extension Office by sending an e-mail message to kbfinley@utk.edu or downloading under publications from this website.
 
> 4-H Animal Project Groups

Any 4-H member interested in getting more involved in their project may choose one of the following project groups: Livestock, Dog, Horse or Poultry.

> Robertson County 4-H Horse Club
Contact: Betty Rogers, Volunteer Leader
The Robertson County 4-H Horse Club is an active group of youth interested in learning more about horses. Any current 4-H club member may join. The 4-H Horse Club meets on second Tuesday of each month. For details about current activities go to the Robertson County 4-H Horse Club web page.
 
> 4-H Camping Programs

There are a number of camping programs offered each summer for 4-H members. Click on the "Calendar" tab to check out the dates and age requirements of each camp.
 
> GIS/GPS Technology
Contact: Kathy Finley, Extension Agent
Robertson County youth are invited to learn about Geographical Information System and Global Positioning System (GIS/GPS). Learn how you can participate in community mapping projects. Learn GIS/GPS along with general computer technology skills by joining the project club.
 
> Volunteer Development

4-H and youth programs in Robertson County provide many opportunities for giving leadership. Adults are invited to participate in the volunteer program. A variety of positions are open with the flexibility to fit almost anyone's interests and schedule.
 
> Companion Animal Shows
